Ingredients:

1 15 oz. can Black Beans, drained and rinsed
5 Tbsp. Cacao Powder
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
3 Tbsp. Date Paste
2 Tbsp. Almond Butter
2 Tbsp. Applesauce
3/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 Large Eggs
6 Tbsp. Chocolate Chips
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
dash of Salt
2 Tbsp. Crushed Walnuts

Directions:

1.Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix the beans, cacao, date paste and almond butter in a high speed blender until smooth. Pour into a bowl and mix in the maple syrup, applesauce, salt, baking soda and vanilla.

2.Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl and whisk into the bean mixture until smooth. Fold in half of the chocolate chips.

3.Line a 8”x8” square baking pan with parchment and pour in the batter. Top the batter with remaining chocolate chips and the walnuts. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the brownies have firmed up. Allow to completely cool before slicing.
