Moist and Delicious Banana Cacao Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds

Directions

  • Step 1

    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees; line 10 muffin tins with paper liners.

  • Step 2

    Place bananas, eggs, honey and vanilla in a food processor or blender –blend till smooth.

  • Step 3

    Scrape down the sides and add the remaining ingredients.

  • Step 4

    Blend again, scraping down the sides once or twice if needed.

  • Step 5

    Transfer batter to your prepared muffin tins and bake for18 minutes or till a toothpick comes out clean.

  • Step 6

    Cool muffins in the tins on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then remove from tins to cool completely.
