Holiday travel does not have to mess up your healthy eating goals. Nourishing Lab has you covered for on the go snacks for that long car or plane ride. Pack these snacks for some nutrient dense fuel to keep you energized and awake while stuck in traffic or delayed at the airport. Keep in mind the Golden Goddess Plate but with snacks we are looking for a combination of protein, fiber and a healthy fat. If you have a plain apple you are going to be hungry not too long after so combine the apple with a healthy fat, such as almond butter. Staying hydrated is also key to reducing jet lag, so pack some reusable water bottles in your bag.
