Banana Cacao Muffins

Moist and delicious cacao and banana muffins without refined sugar. great for breakfast on the run and for the kiddos.
Ingredients
  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees; line 10 muffin tins with paper liners.
  2. Place bananas, eggs, honey and vanilla in a food processor or blender –blend till smooth.
  3. Scrape down the sides and add the remaining ingredients.
  4. Blend again, scraping down the sides once or twice if needed.
  5. Transfer batter to your prepared muffin tins and bake for18 minutes or till a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool muffins in the tins on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then remove from tins to cool completely.
